When you realise that Devon won the categories for Landscape Value, National Trust Sites and Outstanding Pubs as well as recording an average of 1,464 bright sunshine hours a year, which works out to four hours every day, you’ll understand why we love it here.

There is a greater wealth of National Parks, Heritage Coast and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty than any other county and a great diversity of wildlife. Country Life reports that a sharp observer can expect to spot 140 different species of birds on any one day in Devon. You are certainly likely to see a wide variety of wildlife at Webland Farm where roe deer, owls, foxes, badgers and many more have been seen.
